Edelweiss is a mythical symbol of the high mountains of Europe.
Despite its delicate appearance, each part of the flower is adapted to withstand extreme climates, as it grows at altitudes between 1,500 and 3,400 metres.
It is the national flower of Switzerland and Austria, where it holds great cultural significance.
This illustration, together with all the pieces that make up the project, follows the style of traditional botanical illustrations. The technical information sheet is inspired by the specimen records found in herbariums.
