A tree-dwelling amphibian found in the Amazon Basin (Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru).
Did you know that it can camouflage itself? During the day, it remains motionless on leaves, folding its limbs close to its body to blend in with the surrounding vegetation.
To better understand its anatomy, I illustrated its dorsal view, tadpole stage, and detailed studies of its feet, which are one of the most distinctive features of this species. All of these details can be seen in the sketch.
